亞麻夜蛾科害蟲發生種類調查

Abstract

亞麻（Linum usitatissimun L）為本省重要纖維作物，其纖維特性為抗磨擦力大，不易起毛，導熱性佳，吸濕率小，拉力強，彈性大，適於製造帆布、漁網、線類、紙張等。其種子兼可製亞麻仁油，故為本省重要經濟作物之一。 亞麻在本省之栽培，早自1921年即由日本北海道引種栽植，中日戰爭後，臺灣在日本佔據下，以新興纖維資源作物而推廣種植。 y collecting larvae from the flax field to feed in the laboratory and capturing adult with light trap, Tainan T.F.E.S. has carried the works of investigation and classification of flax insects of the family Phalaenidae, for three years. Eight species of this family were found: the corn earworm, Heliothis obsoleta Hübner; Tobacco cutworm, Prodenia litura Fabricus; noctuid caterpillar, Phytometra inter-mixta Warren; army worm, Cirphis uniuncta Haworth; noctuid caterpillar, Anomis fimbriago Stephen; noctuid caterpillar, Phytometra ni Hübner; beet army- worm, Lahygma exigua Hübner, and the black cutworm, Agrotis ypsilon Rottenberg.
