利用真空乾燥以長期保存微生物的方法已被世界學者所重視,筆者亦曾以Sordelli氏保存管,應用於洋菇胞子的貯存,獲得良好的結果,惟該氏保存管,如能改用安瓶管的貯存管(如圖一),在真空度與乾燥方面,更可以得到長期確切的保證,本試驗在二年內利用安瓶管貯存管保存洋菇胞子無論置於-20,-4,0,5,25℃及室內常溫下貯存,經培養後均能在十天內以肉眼看到正常發育的洋菇菌絲,同時在產量上,於二年栽培所得亦無減產的現象。

Proservation of microorganisms by using vacuum-drying methods has long been noticed. A good result was also obtained by employing the method of Sordelli for the storage of basidiospores of Agaricus bisporus. However, a better result has been obtained if an ampoule was used instead of the larger test tube as described earlier by the authors. Spores retained viability after two years’ storage in a vacuum-dried ampoule kept at -20°, -4°, 0°, 50, 25°C and room temperature. No decrease in mushroom yield was observed during two years’ experiments.
