Abstract: 
為育成抗白粉病(powdery mildew; PM)之甜瓜(Cucumis melo L.)雜交新品種,將行政院農委會農業試驗所育成之6個網紋綠肉自交系的抗病性、果形、果實大小、果皮網紋及果肉厚度、甜度等性狀進行評估。抗病性篩選採用葉圓片人工接種法及調查田間自然發病率,先篩選出具抗白粉病之M15033和TARI-08874兩個自交系,並透過雜交育種法育成一代雜交種。
Aim in breeding of a new melon (Cucumis melo L.) hybrid with high level of resistance against powdery mildew (PM) caused by Podosphaera xanthii race 1, a total of 6 green fleshed inbred lines developed by Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute were evaluated for their resistance against PM and major fruit traits.
