本計畫目的在選育豐產、質優、籽粒大、色澤佳、適合加工、結莢位高、適合機械收穫之優良新品種，以供農民秋作栽培。本年度 (1) 102 年秋作進行10 個組合雜交共獲得741 粒F1種子，並於103 年春作培育其F1 世代。(2) 102 年秋作計培育F2 10 個組合及F4 世代10 個組合，103 年春作計培育F3 世代10 個組合。(3) 株行試驗，102 年秋作於F5 世代2,397 個品系中選出100 個優良品系。(4) 第一年品系試驗計有100 品系參試，102 年秋作在公頃籽粒產量方面,以D 組之KA97-05-120 品系之3,321 公斤表現最佳，較高雄10 號之2,312 公斤增產43.6%。在百粒重方面，以D 組之KA97-09-21 品系之23.5 公克表現最佳，較高雄10 號20.6 公克增加2.9 公克。綜合評估選拔KA97-05-120 等32 個品系供103 年秋作進行第二年品系試驗之材料。第二年品系試驗，在公頃籽粒產量以A 組以KA97-09-45 品系之3,634 公斤表現最佳，較高雄10 號之2,760 公斤增產31.7%。B 組以KA97-09-93 品系之3,598 公斤表現最佳，較高雄10 號之2,925 公斤增產23.0%。(5) 新品系區域試驗，公頃籽粒產量有KA96-08-26、KA96-02-101表現最佳，分別為3,471 公斤、3,981 公斤，較對照高雄10 號之2,866 公斤增產21.0、18.6%。
The purpose of adzuki bean cross breeding is to develop new cultivars with high yield, good quality, large seed, bright red seed for process and high pod site for mechanical harvest that were suitable for the cultivation in the south of Taiwan. The experimental result was summarized as follow: (1) A total of 741 F1 hybrid seeds were obtained from 10 cross combinations in the fall crop season of 2013,and were propagated F1 generation in the spring crop season of 2013. (2) In the propagation and selection trials, bulk method was applied to propagating F2-F4 segregative generations in the fall crop season of 2013 and the spring crop of 2014. (3) In the plant-to-row trial, there were 100 fixed lines in F5 generation were selected depend on their performance in the fall crop season of 2013. (4) In the first-year lines trial, KA97-05-120 line of D group had the highest seed yield among 102 tested lines in the fall crop season of 2013, which was 43.6% higher than check variety, Kaohsiung 10. KA97-09-21 line of D group had the higher 100-seed weight among 102 tested lines in the fall crop season of 2013, which was 2.9g higher than check variety, Kaohsiung 10. In the second-year lines trial, KA97-09-45 line of A group had the highest seed yield among 18 tested line in the fall crop season of 2013, which was 31.7% higher than check variety, Kaohsiung 10. KA97-09-93 line of B group had the highest seed yield among 18 tested lines in the fall crop season of 2013, which was 23.0% higher than check. (5) In the first-year lines regional trails, 10 were conducted at 2 locations during the fall crop season of 2013 At 3 locations of Kao-Ping, KA96-08-26, KA96-02-101 lines had the higher seed yield among 10 tested lines, which were 21.1%, 18.6% higher than check variety, Kaohsiung10.
