臺灣藜目前在臺灣各地栽培的地方品系均為高異質性族群,植株性狀極不整齊,不易進行經濟栽培。本研究建置臺灣藜種原庫、繁殖蒐集地方品系種子,並於田間進行性狀調查。目前已於臺東、花蓮及屏東等地蒐集20 個地方品系。經觀察,初步依據穗色多型性族群另編色號1~3 (1:橘紅;2:桃紅;3:橘黃),並記錄株高、穗長、穗重、分枝數、單株籽粒重、脫粒率等性狀。依照籽實及觀賞用途不同,選拔目標性狀亦不同,籽實用臺灣藜成熟期短、高穗重及單株粒重為選拔重點;觀賞用臺灣藜則以穗色整齊、轉色至成熟期期間較長為目標。
The current applied local djulis(Chenopodium formosanum Koidz) strains are all highly heterogenous. Their irregular traits makes economic cultivation harder. In this research, we develop djulis gerplasm, reproducing seeds of collected strains, and investigating their on-field traits. So far, we have collected 20 accessions from Taitung, Hualien and Pingtung. According to the polymorphism of spike colors, we preliminary organize serial number into 1-3 more detailed catalog(1 as orange-red, 2 as peach-red and 3 as orange yellow), and traits like plant height, stem length, spike length, spike weight, number of branches, grain weight and shelling rates were also recorded. According to different purpose of djulis, to use for food or admire ,the selection of the target traits are also different.The djulis with short mature period, high spike weight and grain weight will be selected to use for food;with neat spike color, long color-change period to mature period will be selected to use for admire.
