Abstract: 
木瓜輪點病毒(Papaya ringspot virus,PRSV)病害為一全球性的問題,尤其在熱帶及亞熱帶地區更造成木瓜產業的嚴重損失。木瓜輪點病毒在台灣危害已近三十年,因缺乏抗病種源使得傳統育種的成效不彰。
The disease induced by Papaya ringspot virus (PRSV) is a worldwide problem, causing severe damage and limiting the production of Papaya in tropical and subtropical areas. PRSV has had a devastating effect in Taiwan for almost 3 decades.
