Abstract: 
利用引種,純系選種及雜交育種方法進行選育耐熱、耐濕、抗病、豐產且適合本省高溫多濕夏季栽培之新菜豆品種,在收集八十品種已初步完成各項重要園藝性狀調查,建立種源資料,在耐熱性篩選中,初步獲得編號1,47,48,53及1058等5品種之耐熱性與抗病力較強,在夏季平地可結莢,唯未能達到理想,有待繼續改進,在產量比較試驗中發現以編號47號產量最高,每公頃達11.4公噸,53號與1號次之,產量每公斤亦達10.96與10.45公噸。
The purpose of this study was conducted to select new snapbean varieties which favoured for growing in subtropical Taiwan combined with high yield, good quality and disease resistance by use of introduction, pure line selection and hybridization.
