Abstract: 
在收集之40莧菜品種中,依其用途將其分成六大類,其中包括飼料用莧菜7品種,食用莧菜13品種,觀賞用莧菜2品種,染料用莧菜2品種,種子用莧菜9品種,野莧菜7品種,同時又從40品種中初步選拔4品系優良葉用莧菜及8品系穀粒莧菜,以供下年期之試驗材料。
40 collected amaranthus varieties were classified to six groups, that included 7 varieties of feeding amaranthus, 13 varieties of edible amaranthus, 2 varieties of ornamental amaranthus, 2 varieties of dying amaranthus, 9 varities of cereal amaranthus and 7 varieties of wild amaranthus.
