Abstract: 
乙烯能轉變胡瓜花型,增加雌花數,減少雄花數,在1,000 ppm或500 ppm高濃度下,會嚴重地傷害到植株正常發育和果實收穫。而以250 ppm在第2、4、6片本葉展開時,各噴1次,能有效地抑制雄花發生。採種單果重量與種子發芽率在不同處理次數無顯著差異。單果種子量以250 ppm噴三次為最少,但單株種子量差異不大。故可利用為採種親本之去雄工具。
2-Chlorethanephosphonic acid (Ethrel) can change the sex expression of cucumber, such as increasing the pistillates and decreasing the staminates. However, at high concentration of 1,000 ppm or 500 ppm it adversely affected the plant and fruit growth.
