臺灣番石榴之栽培管理與產期調節

Abstract

番石榴原產熱帶美洲，在本省野生化栽培已有200年以上之歷史。其植株生長強健，栽培管理容易，產量高，果實富含維他命C (300mg/100g)，因此很受島民之愛好。目前栽培面積有 5532 公頃，為本省重要熱帶經濟果樹之一。 The common guava, Psidium guajava L., is a fruit tree native to tropical America and is now extensively grown in the tropical and sub-tropical areas of Asia. It has been introduced into Taiwan for more than 200years and distributed very widely in the island. It is popularly clutivated in Taiwan for its plentiful vitamin C content and because of the good yield even with limited care. The statistics show that the acreage of common guava has increased gradually year by year and has become a very important tropical economical fruit tree in Taiwan. There were 5,532 hectares in 1982.
