Abstract: | Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a human pathogen that occurs naturally in the marine environment and fisheries products, particularly shellfish. The commonly used medium, thiosulfate-citrate-bile salts-sucrose agar (TCBs), for detecting this pathogen can not differentiate growth of V. parahaemolyticus from Vibrio vulnificus or Vibrio mimicus. |
