洋香瓜之水耕試驗

Abstract

本試驗以浮根式水耕配合定時養液等量交換法進行洋香瓜水耕試驗。培養液以山崎肯哉之洋香瓜養液吸收動標準配置。尋求適合不同季節的洋香瓜品種及瞭解該培養液在熱帶地區之變化為目的。 於74年至75年間由國內外陸續收集26品種進行比較試驗，74年秋作16個供試品種中，選出阿魯斯東海S 78、Aska、Green pearl和Bonus melon等四品種，此類品種以引自日本之溫室品種為主。 Muskmelon were cultivated with root-floating hydroponis in the Yamasaki's melon nutrient solution. The cultural practice of muskmelon was divided into two growing seasons. Selecting for suitable varieties and the nutrient uptake of plants were investigated in each season. From a standpoint of plant growth and fruit qualities, Tohai S-78, Aska, Green pearl and Bouns melon were selected as best cultivars among 16 varieties in autumn 1985. And, KN No. 757, KN No. 731, Punch melon, Aska F3, Tien-Huei melon varieties were found to have better performance among 17 varieties tested in summer, 1986.
