Abstract: 
本試驗堆肥,根據室外堆積醱酵日數之長短,而區分為長期與短期堆肥。長短期堆肥均化學分析之結果,除有機物及C/N比有差異外,其他成分之變化均極相似。在醱酵過程中,化學成分均隨著堆肥腐熟時間而改變。酸鹼度以短期堆肥為最適合,並宜為洋菇菌絲之發育,長短期稻藁堆肥之主要有機成分為半纖維素、纖維素、木素、蛋白質,而乙醚可溶物、水可溶物、乙醇可溶物之含量均較少。在堆肥腐熟時,水可溶物、纖維素顯著減少,而乙醇可溶物及乙醚可溶物含量減少不多,但木素及蛋白質却明顯遞增。堆肥之有機物含量,在長期堆肥減少15.54%,短期堆肥則為10.65%。短期堆肥之水可溶物、半纖維素及蛋白質含量之變化比長期堆肥者顯著。
