Pectolytic Activities of Exocellular Enzymes of the Rice Stem-rot Fungi

Abstract

Production of exocellular polygalacturonase by Helminthosporium sigmoideum and H. sigmoideum var. irregulare was determined in vitro. Both fungi produced endo-PG and exo-PG induccible under a variety of media used. 本文敘述水稻小粒菌核病病原菌體外果膠分解酵素之產生及其分解果膠物質之能力。兩種引起水稻小粒菌核病之病原菌 Helminthosporium sigmoideum 及 H. sigmoideum var. irregulare 在含有果膠之培養基內均能產生體外endo-PG 及 exo-PG。
