稻叢紋枯病菌菌核數在台南5號及嘉農秈8號之消長第一期作可以 Ŷ = 1.45 – 0.576X + 0.0605X2 及 Ŷ = 5.00 – 2.03X + 0.158X2 迴歸方程式表示之,而第二期作之消長可以 Y = –2.27 + 4.0X – 1.80X2 + 0.272X3 – 0.0115X4 及Ŷ= –5.34 + 6.48X – 2012X2 + 0.263X3 –0.0097X4 之迴歸方程式表示之。
The fluctuation of the sclerotial numbers of rice sheath blight fungus (Thanatephorus cucumeris) in the hills of rice cultivars, Tainan 5 and Chia-nung-shen 8, could be expressed by the regression equations Ŷ = 1.45 – 0.576X + 0.0605X2 and Ŷ = 5.00 – 2.03X + 0.158X2 for the first crop season, and Y = –2.27 + 4.0X – 1.80X2 + 0.272X3 – 0.0115X4 and Ŷ= –5.34 + 6.48X – 2012X2 + 0.263X3 –0.0097X4 for the second crop season, individually.
