Abstract: 
本研究針對15個山藥品種系之植株及塊莖特性、不同海拔對其塊莖性狀與產量之影響,進行調查、分析、探討與評估,同時為開發多元化山藥優良品種系,進行四種不同類別山藥塊莖性狀與產量之比較試驗,所得結果可供選育兼具生產與抗氧化潛力之山藥優良品種系,及供進一步栽培與加工利用之參考。
由不同海拔試區對山藥塊莖性狀與產量之比較結果可知,6處試區中名問試區之平均產量可達45 t/ha,較羅娜與尖石二試區高達2倍以上:參試山藥中二刺品系(代號70W47)、台農1號(TNG1)、台農2號(TNG2)、汕二品系(70W34)、汕三品系(70W35)及中國長品系(80W02)等之塊莖公頃產量皆有達40 t/ha以上之記錄。
由多元化山藥優良品種系之開發結果指出,中型山藥類中特三品系(70W06)、特七品系(70W17)、特11品系(70W08)、大葉壽豐品系(70W42)、J07品系(70W72)及泰雅品系(83CM121)之表現優異;長型山藥類中基隆大葉品系(70W75)、北投品系(70W48)、陽明品系(70W70)及F155品系(70W73)之塊莖產量表現可高達50 t/ha以上;紅肉山藥類中除紫玉血薯品系(70R16)及名間長紅品系(70R20)之產量可達40 t/ha以上外,其餘僅埔一品系(70R01)、松柏長紅品系(70R22)及紅毛薯(83CM302)之塊莖產量有30 t/ha以上之潛力。此外,桃園區農業改良場選拔兩個山藥優良品系TYS8304及TYS8001,塊莖公頃產量最高可達51 t/ha。
A part or total of 15 Dioscorea genotypes had been cultivated, analyzed, and evaluated at six counties in Taiwan 1998. The results obtained from comparison test on the plant growth characteristics and yield potential of these Dioscorea plants indicated that 70W47, TNGI, TNG2, 70W34, 70W35, and 80W02 might be the most promising lines due to their high yield potential over 40 tlha. Besides, the following Dioscorea genotypes could also be recommended as superior yam lines, such as 70W06, 70W17, 70W08, 70W42, 70W72, 83CM121, 70W75, 70W48, 70W70, 70W73, 70R22, 83CM302, 70R16 and 70R20. Besides, Toayuan District Agricultural Improvement Station has selected two superior yam lines, i.e. TYS8304 and TYS8001, a yield potential over 51 t/ha can be obtained by TYS8304.
