Abstract: 
近年來由於生物技術及電腦等科技的快速發展,加以系統分類學理論的演進,昆蟲分類學及系統發生學的研究,普遍的應用新技術,以多方面的特徵配合傳統的形態方法來探討問題,間接的也提供害蟲鑑定技術的新展望。本文從生化(包括同功異構酣電泳分離技術、免疫方法、染色體分析、核酸變異分析及表皮碳氫化合物分析等)、電腦及聲波分析三方面,介紹這些技術在昆蟲鑑定上之應用,其適用範圍、優缺點及在害蟲鑑定的應用實例。
The fast development in biotechnology and computer in recent decades provides many effective new approaches in systematics. It also casts the light of new techniques in pest indentification. In this paper, the application of biochemical, computer, and acoustic analyses is discussed. The biochemical approaches reviewed include cuticular hydrocarbons, chromosomal analysis, isozyme or allozyme electrophoresis, immunoassay, and DNA-based method.
