臺灣荔枝新品種介紹與佈局策略

Abstract

我國荔枝產業長期以來深受品種少產期集中，優良品種不易栽培且成本高，果實不耐貯藏等問題所困擾。農業試驗所所育成的7個品種，可把產期從當前集中於5月下旬至6月底的現象，藉有計畫性的的品種更新，徹底的改變為4-8月，使供需趨於平衡。而且，可藉多樣化的品種分散勞力、降低生產成本，及降低氣候因素造成的風險。此外，新品種在5℃可貯藏2至4週，有利於外銷。這些新品種的育成，將可為荔枝產業帶來新的契機。 Taiwan litchi breeding program was conducted from 1982. The responsible organisms are Chiayi Agricultural Experiment Station and Fengshan Tropical Horticultural Experiment Station, TARI. The breeding objectives were various mature seasons, high, regular yields, good flavor and qualities with valued characters. Recently seven hybrids namely‘Tainung No. 1 Tsuey Yu’, ‘Tainung No. 2 Wuang Lee’and‘Tainung No. 3 Rose Red’,‘Tainung No. 4Large lychee’,‘Tainung No. 5 Ruby’,‘Tainung No. 6 Clorful lychee’and‘Tainung No. 7 Early Big’have been released. The mature seasons were from early March to early August. All these varieties have been taken Taiwans plant variety right.
