利用產期調節技術後所生產的冬果及春果蓮霧,果實發育期間,常遭低於8℃低溫寒流,產生落葉、裂果及果皮凍傷、落果等現象,常造成重大損失。為了避免低溫寒害,除了調整催花時機外,適度的修剪,維持枝條及葉片的均衡,可提高樹體及果實對低溫之忍受性。果實發育期問,可利用適當的物理設施以提高果園氣溫,而於幼果期配合噴施激勃素GA3 50 ppm、GA4+7及細胞分裂素6-BA 10ppm,有助於提升果實抗寒性;或在低溫發生前於葉面噴施α-SNA 10~15 ppm等,亦可提高樹體之抗寒性,延緩或減低寒害發生程度。
The production period of wax-apple (Syzygium samarangense Merill. et L.M. Perry ) was adjusted from November to March by forcing culture techniques, which often induce the phenomenon of fallen leaves, cracked fruits, chilling fruits and fallen fruits after a period of low temperature (below 8℃) during the winter and early spring. There are some methods to lower the chilling injury: (1) adjusting the flowering period, (2) pruning the aboveground to maintain the balance between shoot and leaf growth, (3) cultural practices to increase field air temperature, (4) spraying plant hormone (e.g., 50 ppm GA3, 10 ppm GA4+7, or 10 ppm 6-BA during fruit development stage, and (5) spraying 10-15 ppm α -SNA before chilling occurrence.
