Abstract
This guidebook is designed to advance the field-level irrigation management concepts and operational protocols developed under the Agricultural Water Resources Master Plan. Spanning a diverse range of key domestic crops—including rice, upland crops, major vegetables, orchard crops, and protected cultivation—the manual integrates crop water requirements with real-time data on phenological stages, soil water potential, and meteorological variables. By tailoring irrigation strategies to the specific water-demand profiles of each growth phase, this resource provides a precision-driven framework for water management. Additionally, the manual highlights emerging innovative technologies and synthesizes proven irrigation modules from regional small-scale pilot sites. Our ultimate goal is to provide a data-backed, adaptable management model that optimizes water allocation throughout the growing season, significantly enhancing both agricultural water-use efficiency and yield stability.
