長期使用巴賽松(phoxim)防治積穀害蟲後，本省最重要之鱗翅目積穀害蟲麥蛾(Sitotroga cerealella Olivier)部分品系已對巴賽松產生明顯抗藥性。以巴賽松對麥蛾之半數擊倒濃度(KC50)進行比較，其中民雄品系抗藥性最強，和美品系最敏感，對巴賽松之相對抗藥性比最高達36。Sitotroga cerealella Olivier, one of the most important lepidopteran insect pests of stored grains in Taiwan, has developed resistant to phoxim after continuous chemical applicatioons for 15 years. Survey results revealed that Minhsiung strain was the most resistant while Homei strain was the most susceptible to phoxim with a resistance ratio found in Minhsiung strain of 36.
