Abstract: 
Field experiments were conducted at the experimental farm of Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) to study the influence of weed interference periods on the growth and yield of no-tillage corn (Zea mays L. cv. Tainung No. 1) in the fall crop of 1991 and the spring crop of 1992. Corn was strip planted and weed interference duration ranged from 1 week after planting to full-season with weed-free check as control. It showed that more weeds were collected from corn field in Fall than in Spring.本文研究旨在探討雜草干擾時期對不整地栽培玉米之生長與產量的影響,田間試驗分別於1991年秋作及1992春作在臺灣省農業試驗所農場進行。玉米臺農一號採條播穴植,雜草干擾時期則分從玉米播後一週至全生育,計有七種處理,而以全期無雜草干擾為對照組。根據試驗結果,自秋作玉米田區收集之雜草量平均大於取自春作區者。
