Abstract: 
二個青割玉米品系H7及Si4,於春、秋、裡三期作,分別在苗栗、彰化、嘉義及花蓮進行氮肥用量及栽培密度試驗,探討其對於鮮草產量及其他農藝性狀之影響。結果顯示,不論在春、秋或裡作,氮肥及密度處理對青割玉米開花期、株高、乾物質總營養消化率及葉部病害等性狀之影響不大。氮肥用量及栽培密度之反應在不同期作或地區間稍有差異。Two forage maize hybrids, H7 and Si4, were grown at Miaoli, Changhwa, Chiayi and Hwalien in spring, fall and winter crops to study the effects of N-fertilizer and plant density effects on the forage yield and several agronomic traits. No N-fertilizer and plant density effects on days to tasseling, plant height, total digestible nutrient percentage (TDN) and leaf diseases were found. Response to N-fertilizer and planting density effects varied among crop seasons and locations.
