Abstract
1．稻癭蠅在我國之分佈，據現所知者有粵省曲江等廿五縣，桂省融縣等十八縣，閱省莆田等十七縣，贛省大庾等六縣，湘省宜章、衡陽二縣及浙省之泰順縣(?)。 2．其寄主除水稻外，作者等于曲江桂頭亦發現其爲害陸稻。
The rice gall midge, Pachydiplosis oryzae Wood-Mason, has been found in six provinces in China, namely, Kwangtung, Kwangsi, Fukien, Kiangsi, Hunan and Chekiang (?) Provinces. It is one of the worst pests of rice in Kwangtung Province. From 1942 to 1944 experiment were carried out at Kweitao, Kükong, Kwangtung to study the life history, habits, and control of the insect.
