Abstract
於1948年5月9日之曇天日蝕時，觀測甘藷之吸水作用與外界各因子之變化關係。此次日蝕時，在臺中之雲量約100%，直肘光線之照射時間，僅終蝕度最高之上午9~10點之1小時間約爲6分鐘，共蝕度爲86%。以此次日蝕時之觀測與共數日後（5月16日）之平常氣象狀況（晴天）之觀測比較檢討之。
This paper deals with the absorption of water by sweet potatos as influenced by some environmental factors observed during the course of solar eclipse on a cloudy day-May 9th, 1948.
