Abstract
本研究的主要目的在於探討臺農351號玉米品種單葉面積及全株葉面積的簡易估算方法，並比較在不同栽植密度及不同採收時期所求得之估算係數間的差異。本試驗於民國七十四年秋作在本所試驗田區進行，在開花期至子粒充實期間隔週取樣調查，計取樣三次；取樣方法採雙重取樣法(double sampling method)，一爲破壞性取樣(destructive sampling)，一爲非破壞性取樣(nondestructive sampling)，前者測量樣品之各葉長、寬、面積及乾重，後者則只於田間測量各葉之長及寬。以破壞性取樣所得之資料利用統計方法找出與玉米單葉面積相關最大的性狀，並求此性狀與玉米單葉面積之迴歸關係；再綜合非破壞性取樣及破壞性取樣所得之資料，計算與玉米全株葉面積相關最大的性狀及其迴歸關係。結果顯示玉米葉片之長寬乘積與其單葉面積之相關最大(r=0.9822)，且在不同密度及不同採收時期所求得之迴歸係數均無顯著差異，故取其平均值0.76做爲估算玉米單葉面積的有效介值；而玉米之第八葉面積與全株之葉面積有很大的相關(r=0.9499)，且在不同密度及不同採收時期所求得之迴歸係數亦無顯著差異，故也取其平均值9.27做爲估算玉米全株葉面積的有效介值。This study was aimed to find a rapid, nondestructive and accurate method of measurement for estimating the individual leaf area and total leaf area of maize. The experiment was conducted by using maize hybrid Tainung 351 in the fall crop of 1985 at Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute. Three samplings were made at one week interval, starting from anthesis, for plants grown under three spacings, i. e., 80×10, 80×20 and 80×40cm. The double-sampling method was employed. For the destructive part of sampling, the length, width, area and dry weight of each individual leaf were measured. For the nondestructive part of sampling, only the length and width of individual leaf were measured in the field. By statistical analysis of the data from destructive samplings, the most correlated leaf characteristics and its regression relationship with individual leaf area were determined. By combining the data of destructive and nondestructive samplings, similar infomation on total leaf area per plant was obtained.
