在室內以液體稀釋法測定10%Techlofthalam及Oryzamate之樂效，結果顯示Techlofthalam對水稻葉枯病菌之防治效果較好。在田間，以剪葉接種及噴霧接種法比較此二種藥劑在1,000倍及2,000倍之防治效果時發現1O%Techlofthalam lO0Oppm較具防治效果，其在剪葉接種時對抑制病斑擴展有72%之效果，在噴霧接種時則有59%之防治效果。施用 1O%Techlofthalam l,000倍時，與對照區比較可減少產量損失，在剪葉接種法可減少損失4.6%，噴霧接種法則可減少損失3.1%。而千粒重及稔實率方面，施樂區均比對照區為高。雖然本藥劑無法防止病害發生，但可抑制病斑的擴展。若不施樂而以剪葉及噴霧法接種病原菌時，發現產量損失為15.9%及9.6%，若又不接種病原菌而僅行剪葉及噴霧操作時則損失產量分別為3.2%及7.8%，本藥劑可作為抑制白葉枯病蔓延的藥劑而不影響水稻的生長或產生藥害。
Bacteriocides 10% Techlofthalam and Oryzamate (control) were tested for the control of bacterial blight of rice by liquid inhibition and turbiditric assessment methods. In the laboratory, the results indicated that 10% Techlofthalam were more effective to inhibit the growth of Xanthomonas campestris pv. oryzae than Oryzamate. In the field, both chemical using the rates of 1000 and 2000 fold indicated that Techlofthalam at 1000 fold gave the best control. At this concentration were 72% and 59% of control leaf-clipping and spraying method, respectively, and the loss of yield decreased 4.6% and 3.1% for each treatment. However, 1000-grain weight and fertility were not significantly affected. Although this compound failed to prevent the occurrence of the disease, it reduced the progress of lessions. When plants were inoculated by leaf-clipping and spraying methods without treatment of bacteriocides, the yield decreased 15.9% and 9.6% respectively, on the other hand, leaf-clipping and spraying only caused 3.2% and 7.8% of yield reduction. In general, 10% Techlofthalam effectively reduced the progress of bacterial blight without noticeable damage to the plants.
