Abstract
本試驗應用銀合歡種子經加水煮沸、脫殼、水洗、晒乾後之種子肉代替大豆餅為蛋白質補充飼料，其與大豆餅進行比較試驗之結果，兩組斷乳豬其平均體重達90公斤所需要期間均為160天。銀合歡組與大豆餅組之生長速度相近似。
The farmers in Taiwan have been used the Leucaena seed as feed for hogs. The bad results such as causing vomiting, red skin in appearance, and hair lossing have been reported The use of the meat of the Leucaena seed as a vegetable protein supplement after cooking de-shelling and washing processes for hogs has been observed by Lee et al (1955).
