Abstract
本研究先整理過去本省土壤調查有關稻田土壤陽離子交換能量資料統計於表一,續就本省稻田根據其土類，亞類分別期作後，採集土壤樣本，進行其陽離子交換性質之分析，包括之項目計有C.E.C.置換性鉀、鈉、鈣、鎂及氫，與數項主要理化性質分析，如PH有機質及全氮量等，分析之樣本共183個，包括64個土壤剖面。
This study starts with the general review on some evidences being found from the soil survey data and recent studies on cation exchange capacity of the paddy soils in Taiwan. The data in table 1. is based on the study on 64 of soil profiles and 183 of soil samples which were classified according to great soil groups, sub-groups and time of sampling. The properties of cation exchange include C.E.C., exchange K, Na, Ca, Mg and H, other physico-chemical properties such as mechanical analysis, PH value, organic matter and total nitrogen are also taken into consideration. There are two main purposes of this study: 1. To discuss the relationship between C.E.C. of the paddy soils of Taiwan and the yield of rice. 2. To explain the C.E.C. in relation with other properties of the paddy soils and to understand its fertility status. The results are shown on the tables in the appendixes.
