Abstract

臺北進行，茲將觀察結果提要如下數點：穀蠹為本省倉儲糧食最重要害蟲之一，該蟲發生密度在稻穀及甘藷簽中為最多，除去穀物外，倉庫中之竹器及木質等均被其害，本蟲分佈甚廣且普遍，在本省所有米穀倉儲的地方均有其踪跡。 These observations were made during 1952-1956 in Taipei, Taiwan. ths Lesser grain borer (Rhizopertha dominica Fab.) wae a well-known pest of stored grains on this island. Both adults and larvae chiefly attacked the stored rice and sweet potato slices. A great deal of food dusts were accumulated when the granis were infested and the temperature of inside granary was increasing because of the fermentation of infested food.
