Abstract
1. 本試驗用二個雜交組合，自F2即各分別在輕肥區（N80）及重肥區（N160）用混合育種法分離繁殖，F6行個體選拔，至F7選拔最優良之固定系統各16個，在普通肥料區（N80）、加半量肥料區（N120）及加倍肥料區（N160）三種不同肥料，比較其肥料反應之差異。
1. In order to evaluate the effect of selection under different fertilizer levels in the hybrid populations of rice, two crosses i. e. Chianung No. 242 x Colusa and Hsinchu No. 56 x Indidsol Dinoj were used for this study. The F2 seeds were bulked and divided into two portions and were planted in ordinary and heavy fertilization plots respectively. The plants selected from each plot were again bulked and planted under the same conditions in the successive generations until F5. From F6, selections were made from two treatments on an individual plant basis. In F7, 16 lines were selected from each treat-ment. In F8, these lines were planted in the ordinary fertilizer (N 80), moderate fertilizer (N 120) and heavy fertilizer (N 160) plots.
