Abstract
「溫州桶柑」由於果瓤肥短，果肉聚密而柔軟，含核率低，果肉色鮮紅，而目前公認為最適製罐之品種，本省之製罐品種「桶柑」雖有獨特之香味，但因具果形高，果肉鬆，瓤皮脆弱，果心硬，種子數多等之缺點，製罐時之果肉崩裂率較高，浪費材料，提高成本。又因果肉不鮮，果汁白濁現象嚴重等原因在一般市場未得好評。
In order to get information on the desirability for topworking mature Ponkan or Tankan trees to Satsuma orange for rapid increasing the production of fruit for canning, studies were made on fruits produced from Satsuma orange on Tri- foliate orange, Satsuma orange topworked on Tankan or Ponkan both with Sunki rootstock, and Tankan topworked on Satsuma orange with Trifoliate orange root- stock for comparing their suitability for canning.
