2.本試驗共分成（l）動力微粒噴霧器「慣用濃度」 （即19.5% Endrin E. C. 500倍） ; (2）動力微粒噴霧器「加倍濃度」（即19.5% Endrin E. C. 250倍） , (3）掛肩式圓筒全自動噴霧器「慣用濃度」（即19.5% Endrin E. C. 500倍）等3處理。
(1) The role of this experiment was to study the practical value of knapsack Atomizer on controlling cotton insects, as well as to compare the results of treat-ments applied with Detachable Compression Sprayer.
(2) This experiment tested with three different treatments of the spray: (A) The general concentration spray (19.5% Endrin 500 times) of Knapsack Atomizer.,
(B) The duplicate concentration spray (19.5% Endrin 250 times) of Knapsack At-omizer., (C) The general concentration spray (19.5% Endrin 500 times) of Detach-able Compression Sprayer.
(3) In the comparison of time required for spraying between Knapsack Atomizer and Detachable Compression Sprayer, when the cotton plants have grown below 90 cm. the former were 7 times quicker than the later. But when the plants have grown 90 cm. high, it was 5 times faster. On the other hand, in the compari-son of dosages required for different concentrations, when the cotton plants have grown below 50 cm. the former could diminish 50% volume of insecticide than the later. As the cotton plants grow higher than 60 cm. the former could diminish 64－68% volume of insecticide.
(4) In the comparison of yields, there was no heterogeneity and no significant difference among the yields of seedcotton, as well as the mortalities of insects.
