Abstract: | 益生菌泛指具有維持及促進腸道微生物相平衡之活體微生物,在人體、畜禽及水產動物之研究中,已知其具有促進宿主腸道健康、抑制病原菌生長、強化免疫系統、提升營養利用效率等多重功能。而益生菌也因其具有促進植物營養吸收及利用、提升作物生長與產量及保護植物對抗病蟲害侵染之作用,因此常被開發作為生物肥、生物刺激素或生物農藥等植醫保健應用。另益生菌因較化學藥劑及抗生素等對人畜動物及環境安全,又兼具多重功能,亦為降低抗藥性發生、無抗畜禽水產養殖之重要替代策略。 Probiotics are referred to as live microorganisms which could modulate gastrointestinal microbial communities and are beneficial to the hosts. They are known to improve intestinal microbial balance, to improve feed utilization, to promote growth, to strengthen immune response, and to suppress pathogens infections in humans and animals. They also could be used as biofertilizers to provide nutrients for the crop; as biostimulants to protect plants against abiotic stress; and as biopesticides to protect plants against biotic stress. They could be as a potential alternative or additional products to the agrochemicals and antibiotics due to their non-toxic, safe nature to the humans, animals and environments. |
