Abstract: 
在我國進口大量飼料用玉米及大豆之情況下,本計畫將建立分子標幟輔助玉米育種平台,並以基因型選拔方式將o2 基因導入高產優良之硬質玉米自交系中,建立優質蛋白玉米基礎育種族群材料,目標為選育適應臺灣氣候環境與栽培模式之優質蛋白玉米新品系,推廣種植優質蛋白玉米來提高我國糧食安全與解決休耕地活化問題。
This project is planned to set up the molecular markers assisted selection platform and introgress the o2 gene into elite common corn inbreds by gel based genotyping data. Moreover, it is going to generate the quality protein maize foundation breeding population materials to aim at breeding a new quality protein maize hybrid variety. It would be expected to enhance Taiwan food security and solve the fallow lands utilization problems by popularize the quality protein maize.
