Abstract: 
為進行糯性高粱育種試驗,103 年從美國農部植物研究所引進150 個高粱品種中,經103年及104 年度觀察試驗,選拔出3 個適合臺灣種植之品系,將持續進行栽培及相關試驗。糯性高粱純系選拔試驗,分別自100 年及102 年起針對糯性高粱雜交種進行純系選拔試驗,已有7個品系之性狀已達穩定遺傳,可進一步進行產量比較試驗,其餘品系因仍有性狀分離,須進一步觀察選拔。此外,收集臺灣彰化地區掃帚用高粱品種進行觀察試驗,以利建立掃帚用高粱品種之種原。
For waxy sorghum breeding, 150 accessions of sorghum germplasm were introduced from USDA Plant Research Institute in 2014. In observation trials conducted in 2014-15, there were 3 accessions showed good agronomic characteristics in Taiwan, which would be subjected to cultivation trials. On the breeding of waxy sorghum, inbred lines were selected from 2011 and 2013, 7 lines are considered genetically consistent and stably inherited which would be subjected to yield comparison trials. The remaining lines showed traits separation that still need to be selected. In addition, indigenous sorghum landraces for broom use are collected to establish our germplasm.
