Abstract: 
為瞭解硬質玉米品種在臺灣北部地區之栽培種植期,本試驗於2013 至2014 年以硬質玉米品種台農1 號、台南24 號、明豐3 號、明豐103 號及農興688,於桃園縣新屋鄉進行玉米周年栽培播種期試驗。結果顯示播種期以3 至4 月為宜,建議品種為台南24 號;秋作可選擇明豐3 號、明豐103 號或農興688 為栽培品種,且應於8 月前完成播種,才不致於因秋冬低溫及氣候變化而減產。
The trial of different plant seeding date be conducted to find appropriate plant seeding time for field corn varieties in the northern Taiwan. The field corn varieties Tainung No.1, Tainan No.24, Ming Fung No.3, Ming Fung No.103 and Nung Sing 688. The best yield of spring cultivation period were in March and April. The results indicated that Tainan No.24 have higher grain yield of field corn. In the fall cultivation period, we suggested to plant Ming Fung No.3, Ming Fung No.103 and Nung Sing 688, and seeding date should be completed in August.
