昆蟲分類在檢疫有害生物的應用-以鞘翅目為例

Abstract

鞘翅目為昆蟲裡種類多樣性最高的其中⼀目， 防檢單位所檢疫到的鞘翅目的案件頗多， 但最難解的是突發事件， 如族群大爆發、出現新紀錄害蟲及已紀錄的害蟲有疑慮； 本文以鞘翅目為案例來說明昆蟲分類在此類案件處置的角色 Coleoptera (beetles) is one of the orders with the highest species richness among insects. A great portion of Many imported samples intercepted by the Bureau of Animal and Health Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine are of beetles. Among them, the most sticky problems usually occurred in unexpected scenarios, such as outbreaks of unknown insects, the occurrence of a newly recorded insect pest, and the verification of records of insect pests. This article will address what kind of roles insect taxonomy play when dealing with these cases.
