進行人工雜交組合4 組，共獲得268 粒F1種子，並培育F2至F6世代，由91(1)-1 等14個組合F6 世代單株選拔378 株。株行試驗入選TS94-01B 等17 個品系晉級品系試驗，第一年品系試驗入選TS93-03V 等10 個品系晉級第二年試驗。第二年品系試驗以TS92-60V 及TS92-63Br2 個品系整體表現較佳，其增產指數達5.4 至25.4%。大區10 公頃栽培之合格莢產量平均每公頃10,862 公斤，較小區0.3 公頃栽培之8,668 公斤，增產25.3%，大區栽培成本每公頃92,154 元，較小區栽培成本每公頃87,000 元高。大區栽培每公頃淨收益70,766 元，較小區栽培每公頃淨收益43,020 元增加1.65 倍之效益。本研究結果顯示台灣毛豆的生產應朝向大面積土地來經營，才能大幅降低生產成本，確保合格莢產量及品質。
268 hybrid seeds were obtained from four cross combinations. In the propagation and selection trials, bulk method was applied to propagate F2 - F6 generations in the spring and fall crop season of 2005. 378 superior single plants in F6 generation were selected in the 2005. In the plant-to-row trial, 17 elite lines (TS94-01B…etc.) were selected. In the first-year line trial, 10 superior lines (TS93-03V etc.) were selected. In the second-year line trial, 2 superior lines (TS92-60V…etc.) were selected. They were 5.4 - 25.4% higher than check, kaohsiung No. 6. 10 ha large field was 25.3% higher in graded pod yield than 0.3 ha small field. 92,154 NT$/ha of 10 ha large field was higher cost for vegetable production than 87,000 NT$/ha of 0.3 ha small field. 70,766 NT$/ha of 10 ha large field was 65% higher in net income than 43,020 NT$/ha of 0.3 ha small field.
