Currently, the valid and acceptable species of Phytophthora are abous hundred in the world. Among them, 30 species have been reported in Taiwan, and 25 species can still be detected in recent years. Twelve of which are the important crop pathogens, including P. nicotianae (=P. parasitica), P. palmivora, P. capsici, P. infestans, P. melonis, P. citrophthora, P. cinnamomi, P. colocasiae, P. cryptogea, P. drechsleri, P. cactorum x P. parasitica and P. citricola |
