Abstract: | 本省高粱有計畫的栽培是自民國42年開始，四十年來因種植品種的替代及種植面積的變動皆導致害蟲相的改變。民國42年以前本省高粱只有零星栽培，供養鴨飼料及做掃帚之用，民國42年由美國引進新品種經選得威士種於民國45年推廣栽培，48年調查實主要害蟲為玉米穗蟲。 The paper describes in brief the sorghum-growing areas, sorghum production and yield and a range of field pests attacking the crop in Taiwan, also include is a review of crop losses and control methods recommended in the region. |
