瓜類種子生產技術

Abstract

在本省鮮銷市場上，具高經濟價值的瓜類作物有西瓜、甜瓜、胡瓜及絲瓜，其中以西瓜、南瓜、甜瓜及胡瓜的種子生產最為重要。 本省在十九世紀初中以前，少有大規模的瓜類種子生產；如今則減少部分的品種極有限量的種子，仍由農民自行繁殖、留種外，大部分均由私人種苗公司生產，以供應全省各地或外銷。瓜類種子均集中在本省南部春秋季生產。 The Cucurbitaceaes grown for the market in Taiwan with greater economic value consists of watermelon, melon, cucumber and vegetable sponge. Of these watermelon, squash, melon and cucumber are most important for seed production.
