Abstract
洋蔥在本省之栽培已逾40餘年，最高栽培面積曾達1925公頃，是本省重要外銷農產品之一，至民國78年止，外銷量均在40~60%。主要產地集中於楓港、林園、車城、枋山與恒春山地區，而以南台灣之恒春半島為最重要，民過62年已後產值約佔蔬菜作物之1%左右。
Onion has been cultivated in Taiwan for 40 years, with a maximum cultivation area of 1,925 hectares in 1964, and has been an important export crops as well. It is estimated that 40 to 60% of the yield was exported yearly before 1989. The main production areas are located in Fongan, Linyuan, Chechen, Fangshan and Hanchuan, of which Hanchuan Penisula is the largest onion center.
