Abstract: 
利用GA3或AgN03以種子處理法或幼苗噴施法來誘導「強雌性型」胡瓜,發現以幼苗噴施法,難以誘導雄花,而用種子處理法,能有效地誘導足量之雄花。GA3濃度過高,不利種子發芽;過低時,無法誘導雄花。25,000 ppm 雖能誘出雄花,但花數甚少。AgNO3濃度在2,500,5,000 或10,000 ppm 均能誘導出雄花,且單株雄花數較多;雄花著生位置也低;開第1朵雄花日期亦早。
Gibberellin A3 and Silver nitrate were used for induction of staminate flower production on the 'Stability female cucumber' by foliar spray and seed treatment. It was found that foliar spray hardly induced staminate flower whlie seed treatment could effectively induced sufficient staminate flower.
