The Species of Genus Scirtothrips (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) of Taiwan

Abstract

Three species of Seirtothrips were recorded from Taiwan. Among them, Scirtothrips acus and S. asinus are new species. Seirtothrips dorsalis Hood is a notorious insect pest of some crops. The morphological characteristics of Anascirtothrips and Seirtothrips are discussed. Description s of these three Scirtothrips species are given. 本文比較跳薊馬屬（Scitothrips）與安跳薊馬屬（Anascirtothrips）形態上之差異。並記載3種台灣產跳薊馬屬之薊馬，其中肖楠跳薊馬（Scirtothrips acus）與檜木跳薊馬（Scirtothrips asinus）為新種，小黃薊馬（Scirtothrips dorsalis）為數種果樹及蔬菜之重要害蟲。
