Abstract: | Reticuloendotheliosis viruses (REVs) belong to the Gammaretrovirus genus and have a genomic structure consisting of the group-specific antigen (gag), protease (pro), polymerase (pol), and envelope (env) regions flanked by long terminal repeats (LTRs). Birds infected with REV after hatching, a transient viremia followed by antibody formation. |
