Abstract:
Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. gladioli is a serious problem to gladiolus production in Taiwan. No control measure has been ever practical to this disease previously. The pathogen was usually associated with planting materials, and was commonly isolated from root, corm, husks of diseased and apparently healthy gladiolus. About 10 times more of the fungus was obtained from macerated diseased corms than from apparently healthy ones.
