PROCEEDING OF A SYMPOSIUM ON HORTICULTURAL PRODUCTION UNDER STRUCTURE
Abstract: 
日本設施園藝方面的研究與實際應用已有三十餘年歷史,各項栽培技術進步,其農業經營型態與台灣相近,較為集約,各種蔬菜、水果及花卉的生產種類及栽培方式頗適合台灣在發展設施園藝之觀摩,作為我們改進經營技術的參考。本報告介紹:
1.日本設施園藝發展的背景及現狀。
2.各試驗研究機構對設施架構及有關環境控制的研究改進。溫度調節;利用探夜電力發展植物工場。
3.日本的養液栽培發展情形。養液栽培方式及推廣情形;養液栽培作物的種類及栽培制度;蔬菜工場;養液栽培經營費用;養液栽培今後研究方向。
4.建議事項。
Japan has more than thirty years of experience in the study and application of greenhouse technique and is quite advanced in this field. The farm cultivation in both Japan and Taiwan is of intensive style and their farm management in many aspects is quite similar to each other. Therefore, the Japanese experience can serve a reference in developing our greenhouse technique. This report covers the following topics:
1. The background and status of greenhouse development in Japan.
2. The improvement in greenhouse structure and environmental control made in Japan- Temperature regutaling, plant factory using low cost midnight power.
3. The development of hyponics in Japan- cultivation types, promotion, crop varieties, culture systems, operation costs, future development.
4. Recommendation.
