Abstract
蓮霧為熱帶果樹之一，生育期最適溫度為25~30℃。屏東地區利用產期調節技術於冬季12月至4月收穫之蓮霧品質最佳，售價亦較高。惟冬季天候不穩，常有寒流過境，或持續短日照天氣，導致蓮霧落花落果，影響產量與品質甚鉅。
Wax Apple is one of tropical fruit trees and the suitable temperature for the tree to grow is from 25 to 30℃. Under natural condition, wax apple is used to harvest from May to July. For improving the fruit quality and market sale, a forcing cultural technology has been applied in order to ad just the productive season from summer to winter.
