The chemicals were treated on 8 different dates during a 2-year period. Treatment of 25% urea caused 78% of defoliation, severe twig damage and serious die-back of new shoots, Among the 6 treatment, Ethrel at 0.2% concentration is recommended due to less damage to the plants and higher yields. Concerning the fruit quality, there was no significant difference among various treatments. |
