Abstract: 
加工番石榴品種以中山月拔爲供試材料,試驗採用三種藥濟各稀釋二種濃度下處理,發現不同氣候下各處理間對促進落葉效果與産量有關。其中採用46%尿素25%濃度者,植株落葉率逹78.11%,枝條損傷嚴重,新梢乾枯程度平均逹47.85 cm長,而以盆收生長素0.2%較爲適宜,産量也較高,平均每株逹55.2 kg,果粒重101.8 gm。各處理間品質差異不甚明顯。
Five-year-old ”Chung-San Monthly” guava plants were sprayed with Ethrel and urea at 2 different concentrations to regulate the production period. The chemicals were treated on 8 different dates during a 2-year period. Treatment of 25% urea caused 78% of defoliation, severe twig damage and serious die-back of new shoots, Among the 6 treatment, Ethrel at 0.2% concentration is recommended due to less damage to the plants and higher yields. Concerning the fruit quality, there was no significant difference among various treatments.
